Ananthakrishnan M A is a highly skilled Software Engineer with over 5 years of experience in developing C/C++ applications in the storage domain. Currently working as a Software Engineer 2 at Dell EMC, he is a part of the PowerMax OS Development team, where he is focused on developing features for replication, disaster recovery, and migration applications related to PowerMax OS. Ananthakrishnan has a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science from the Federal Institute of Science and Technology, Mahatma Gandhi University. He has a strong technical background in embedded software, system software, operating systems, and storage systems. He is proficient in programming languages such as C, C++, and Python, and has experience in front-end/backend development using technologies such as PHP, Python Django, RESTful API, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Angular. He also possesses expertise in design patterns, data structures, algorithms, and multithreading. Ananthakrishnan has worked on several projects during his tenure at Dell EMC. He has developed Minimally Disruptive Migration (O-MDM) to automate the process of migrating host applications to a PowerMax. He has also developed support for migration (ORS) to interoperate with disaster recovery (SRDF) and backup operations (SNAPVX). Ananthakrishnan has implemented a data collection mechanism inside the OS to support intelligent migrations in the future. He has also debugged and fixed over 50 OS issues related to migration (ORS) raised by QE. Ananthakrishnan's technical expertise extends to protocols such as SCSI, NVME, and NVME over TCP. He is also innovating in the storage space for performance improvements using ML algorithms.
